Description
The Project Outside Grant, administered by the Roanoke Outside Foundation, supports outdoor capital improvement projects, maintenance of key outdoor assets, and initiatives that launch or sustain businesses in the outdoor sector. Established in 2020, Project Outside aims to ensure that the region's outdoor infrastructure remains in top condition for residents and visitors, enhancing activities such as hiking, biking, paddling, camping, and fishing.

Project Outside operates in partnership with local land managers, pooling resources to achieve its mission. Since its inception, the initiative has funded 33 projects with a total investment of $175,000. For the current cycle, $30,000 is available for allocation.
