The Lightfoot Foundation announces Housing Grants
This funding opportunity provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in Idaho that operate homeless shelters and family housing programs for low-income families.
Description
The Lightfoot Foundation offers annual Housing Grants to support homeless shelters and family housing organizations that serve financially disadvantaged families in Idaho. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations whose work aligns with the foundation’s mission to protect and preserve families. The Lightfoot Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established to provide financial assistance through scholarship, to post high school students who are looking to further their education. The Foundation also assists organizations, through grants, that preserve the environment and provide housing to the financially disadvantaged.
The current grant cycle, open from September 1 through December 1, is now accepting applications, with reviews underway for all complete submissions. Organizations interested in applying should ensure their applications meet all criteria to be considered within the foundation's review period. The grant amounts vary from year to year and will be different every year.
