Description
The Emerging Philanthropist Program (EPP) Endowment Fund provides up to $2,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations supporting mental health services in Cumberland and Dauphin Counties, Pennsylvania. Established by EPP alumni, the fund builds on the mission of the EPP to empower Harrisburg’s young professionals in philanthropy, while creating community impact beyond the annual EPP class grant.
Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with proof of service in Cumberland or Dauphin Counties. Proposed projects must align with the fund’s mission of supporting mental health, demonstrate measurable goals, and include diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations. Applications open on November 1, 2024, with a deadline of March 1, 2025, and selected projects will operate between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
The evaluation criteria include alignment with the fund’s mission, a clear and measurable project plan, a diversified funding strategy, and community inclusivity. Applications are reviewed by the EPP Endowment Committee, comprised of EPP alumni, who may request additional information.
