Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa

This program empowers high school students in Black Hawk County to distribute funds to nonprofit organizations, fostering youth philanthropy and community engagement.

Description

The Teen Trust Grants program, facilitated by the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA), supports youth philanthropy by empowering a diverse group of high school students from Black Hawk County to distribute funding to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Through a structured process involving training seminars, grant applications, and site visits, the student Trustees collaborate to determine which organizations to support through financial contributions or volunteer efforts.

For the 2024 grant cycle, applications are currently being accepted and must be submitted by December 13, 2024. Grant decisions will be announced in April 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the Grant Guidelines to ensure eligibility.

Applicants must log into CFNEIA's Grant Management System (or create an account) to access and submit their application. The system allows users to save progress and return later to complete their submissions.

For additional assistance with the grant application process or related inquiries, applicants can consult the Grantseeker's Resources provided by CFNEIA.
