Waterville Community Fund Grant
This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and government agencies in Waterville for innovative projects that enhance community programs in areas like arts, education, and health.
Description
The Waterville Community Fund offers grants to support innovative projects that benefit the Waterville community. Eligible areas include arts and culture, civic projects, conservation and environment, education, and health and human services. Priority is given to projects that enhance existing programs rather than fund core operations, have limited alternative funding sources, and involve dedicated community volunteers.
Eligibility: Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or government agencies serving Waterville. Funds must be used within one year of the award date and cannot cover previously incurred expenses.
Application Process: Applications open on October 1 and are due by December 1. The Waterville Community Fund Advisory Committee reviews applications, with final recommendations made to the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Award notifications are sent in December.
