Description
The Clackamas County Cultural Coalition's 2025 Project Grant Program supports projects in the arts, heritage, and humanities that directly benefit residents of Clackamas County, Oregon. The Coalition’s Spring Grant Cycle opens on March 17, 2025, and closes on April 17, 2025. Grants are awarded for cultural projects that align with the Coalition’s values and vision and must be completed within the calendar year. The program emphasizes increasing access to and participation in local cultural activities and advancing community collaboration.
Eligible applicants include organizations with a physical and mailing address in Clackamas County, individuals based anywhere in Oregon with projects that clearly benefit Clackamas County residents, and Oregon-based organizations with similar benefit structures. Applicants must demonstrate local partnerships and community support. Previous grantees must be current on all reporting and agreements. Nonprofit tax-exempt status is not required for eligibility.
Grant amounts range from a minimum of $751 to a maximum of $5,000. Funded projects must align with the Coalition’s goals, including increasing public recognition of local culture, embracing cultural diversity, supporting community participation in culture, embedding arts in community development, and expanding communication capacities for cultural groups and creatives. Funded activities must respond to at least one of the Coalition’s priority areas and demonstrate measurable outcomes.
Applications must clearly demonstrate partnerships and collaborations, including support from community entities, and show financial contributions through matching funds or in-kind support. Capital projects that increase participation in arts, heritage, or humanities may be considered, but applicants must contact the Coalition prior to applying to confirm eligibility. Projects involving minors must be submitted by an adult. Endowment support, hospitality costs (such as food or alcohol), and applications from prior grantees with overdue reports will not be considered.
Grant recipients are required to submit a final narrative and financial report within 30 days of project completion. Reports must include documentation such as photos or other materials to illustrate how the funds were used.
