Grant Opportunity: Kids on Bikes Program

Award Details: The Kids on Bikes Program is a funding opportunity designed to support new or existing collaborative efforts that align with CSHF's funding focus areas and eligibility requirements. The program aims to address community health challenges through collaboration and the application of principles of the collective impact model. Participating organizations are expected to contribute resources, and evidence-based practices are encouraged. The grant can be awarded for up to three years.

Eligibility: Applicant organizations must be tax-exempt (501(c)3), operating under the fiscal agency of a tax-exempt organization, or tax-supported like a school or local/state government. The program is open to organizations serving El Paso and/or Teller Counties in Colorado. While collaboration applicants with specific attributes are considered more competitive, all collaborations that align with CSHF's mission and focus areas are encouraged to discuss their proposals with CSHF staff.

Starting from January 1, 2023, each organization may submit only one grant request per year assuming they have no current open grants.

Eligibility: Applicant organizations must be tax-exempt (501(c)3), operating under the fiscal agency of a tax-exempt organization, or tax-supported like a school or local/state government. Organizations must serve El Paso and/or Teller Counties in Colorado. For-profit organizations and individuals are not eligible for funding. Requests for annual appeals, membership drives, fundraising events, political candidates, lobbying efforts, and re-granting organizations' own grantmaking activities.
