Collaborative Grants
This funding opportunity supports collaborative educational projects in Brookline, encouraging teamwork among educators across various disciplines and grade levels to enhance student learning.
Description
The Brookline Education Foundation (BEF) is now accepting applications for FY26 Collaborative Grants, open from December 2, 2024, through March 3, 2025. These grants are intended to foster cooperative efforts across disciplines, grade levels, and schools, promoting teamwork and professional learning throughout Brookline. With funding up to $20,000 per grant, Collaborative Grants emphasize the BEF's core value of Collaborative Relationships by supporting innovative projects that benefit multiple stakeholders within the educational community.
Applicants with project budgets of $8,000 or more are required to submit a Concept Paper to ensure alignment with the BEF grants program and to refine their proposals. While optional for projects under $8,000, submitting a Concept Paper is encouraged as it can enhance the chances of a successful application. Grant writing workshops, hosted in partnership with the Office of Teaching and Learning, will be available prior to the filing deadline to assist applicants in preparing their proposals.
Applications will be reviewed by BEF Committees, composed of Brookline educators and BEF Board members. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by mid-April 2025. Projects awarded funding must be implemented between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026. For more information or assistance, applicants can consult the Grants Calendar, FAQs, or contact Jennie (jennie@brooklineeducation.org) or Kbarnum (kbarnum@brooklineeducation.org).
