Drinking Water Planning and Design Funds for PFAS Treatment
Description
This grant aims to support the planning and design of long-term treatment solutions for public drinking water systems contaminated with Per- and polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in Minnesota. Eligible applicants are those who own or operate community drinking water systems and have a four-quarter rolling average that exceeds specified EPA contaminant levels. Up to $22,000,000 is available for these projects, with funding based on cost effectiveness and eligibility. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds are fully allocated or until the deadline on June 28, 2024.
