The iHIT mechanism within the CAT program supports high-return, innovative, and transformative bioscience research projects that are in the developmental stage. It aims to foster novel, multidisciplinary research that differs from ongoing research, with a focus on generating significant economic returns. Funding up to $75,000 is provided for one year.

economy by fostering innovative research and development activities. The CAT program sponsors four grant
mechanisms to attract and retain life science businesses and help to create new high-tech jobs in Delaware.
