Town of Provincetown Tourism Fund Grant Program 2026
This grant provides funding for marketing initiatives that promote events in Provincetown, particularly those that attract visitors during off-peak seasons and enhance community collaboration and diversity.
Description
The Town of Provincetown’s Fiscal Year 2026 Tourism Fund Grant Program is now accepting applications until December 2, 2024, for funding during the period from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026. Two grant types are available:
1. **Event Marketing Grants** – These grants support marketing efforts for events that attract new visitors to Provincetown and encourage repeat visits.
2. **Matching Marketing Grants** – These grants fund advertising, marketing materials, or other promotional initiatives to bolster Provincetown’s year-round economy.
**Funding Requirements**: All funds must be utilized solely for marketing and public relations activities.
**Application Priorities**:
- Events during "shoulder" seasons (March, April, May, November, December) to encourage local businesses to extend operations beyond peak times.
- New events, defined as those in operation for five years or less, with funding provided as seed money for marketing efforts.
- Established events (over five years old) that have a targeted plan to enhance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in attendance.
- Demonstrated collaboration with local businesses to maximize economic benefits for Provincetown.
