The Commemorate 50 Years of Southeast Asians in Minnesota grant program, funded by the State’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, supports historic and cultural grants to cultural community organizations, historical organizations, and veterans organizations. These grants aim to commemorate the 50-year history of Southeast Asians in Minnesota, marking a significant occasion in the state's history. Projects may include oral histories, research and writing, interpretive programs, public education, publications, collection care, museum conservation, digital conservation, and historic preservation.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, units of state, local, or tribal government, and cultural community organizations, historical organizations, or veterans organizations without 501(c)(3) status who apply with a fiscal sponsor. Applicants must be physically located in Minnesota. There is one application cycle with pre-application and final application phases. The pre-application is due August 23, 2024, and the final application is due October 4, 2024. The anticipated project start date is January 1, 2025.
