Community Investment Grants 2025-2026
This funding opportunity supports nonprofit programs in Collier and Monroe Counties that assist employed individuals and families facing financial challenges, focusing on measurable improvements in community resilience, financial security, health, and youth opportunities.
Description
The United Way of Collier and the Keys (UWCK) 2025-26 Community Investment Grant aims to support programs that address critical needs in Collier and Monroe Counties. The grant prioritizes services for the ALICE population (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed), which includes individuals and families struggling to meet basic needs despite being employed. Programs eligible for funding must align with one or more of UWCK's impact areas: Community Resiliency, Financial Security, Healthy Community, or Youth Opportunity.
Nonprofit agencies with 501(c)(3) status that operate in Collier or Monroe Counties and adhere to a nondiscrimination policy are invited to apply. Programs must demonstrate the ability to create measurable change for the ALICE population. Applicants are required to select at least two outcome indicators relevant to their chosen impact area and detail how the program will achieve and report on these outcomes.
The application process opens on December 4, 2024, and closes on January 8, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Applications must be submitted through UWCK’s online portal. Agencies new to the process must first create an e-CImpact account and obtain approval before gaining access to the application. Existing participants can use their current login credentials. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
A transparent review process involves volunteer committees evaluating applications based on their alignment with UWCK's priorities, the depth of impact, and the ability to avoid service duplication. During the review period, applicants may be asked to address clarifying questions. Final funding decisions will be communicated on March 21, 2025, followed by the distribution of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to awarded agencies on March 24, 2025. The grant cycle officially begins on April 1, 2025, with funds distributed in monthly installments.
Recipients are required to submit interim and final reports detailing program progress, participant demographics, financial summaries, and measurable outcomes. Reports are due by October 15, 2025, and April 15, 2026, respectively. Programs must use funds exclusively for the approved initiative and demonstrate a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
