Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) Grant
This funding opportunity supports community-based programs in Pennsylvania that aim to prevent child abuse and neglect by engaging families and caregivers through evidence-based, long-term interventions.
Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) is offering Children’s Trust Fund (CTF) grants to support primary and secondary child abuse and neglect prevention programs in community-based settings throughout Pennsylvania. Established in 1988 and administered by the CTF Board and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), the fund is financed by a $10 surcharge on marriage licenses and divorce complaints. The grants are aimed at preventing child abuse or neglect by funding evidence-based programs that involve parents, primary caregivers, and families over an extended period. Programs may be newly created or expansions of existing services targeting underserved or underrepresented demographics.
Eligible applicants include any organization located and operating in Pennsylvania that provides direct services meeting specific criteria. Applicants must demonstrate the program's effectiveness and focus on comprehensive family engagement rather than single-session interventions. The application deadline is June 18.
