Description
The 2025 Dallas County Foundation Grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and government units in Dallas County, Iowa, to address a wide range of community needs. Eligible projects can focus on areas such as health, human services, arts and culture, historic preservation, and the environment. This grant program supports initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents in Dallas County. Applications for the 2025 cycle open on December 2, 2024, and must be submitted by February 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with IRS 501(c)(3), (c)(5), or (c)(6) status or 170b government units. Religious or political organizations may only apply if their proposed project benefits the entire community. Groups without the required nonprofit status may partner with an eligible organization to apply. All applications must be submitted in printed form, with seven copies delivered by mail or hand to designated locations. Selected applicants will be notified of their award status by March or April 2025, with checks distributed at an awards reception in April or May.
Grant recipients are required to complete their projects by October 2025 and submit a post-project evaluation to remain eligible for future funding opportunities.
