The Louis & Elizabeth Nave Flarsheim Charitable Foundation was established to support and promote quality programming in education, culture, human services, and health care. The foundation aims to enhance the well-being of residents in the Greater Kansas City Metro area by funding initiatives that align with its mission. The foundation provides financial assistance to nonprofit organizations engaged in efforts to improve arts, culture, community development, education, health, and human services.
Grants awarded by the Flarsheim Charitable Foundation are for a duration of one year. Funding is available for both general operating support and program support. However, capital support requests will not be considered. The foundation seeks to support organizations that serve communities within the Greater Kansas City Metro area, including parts of Kansas and Missouri.
The application process is managed through the Missouri office. Interested applicants must submit their proposals by March 31. All applicants will be notified of funding decisions by June 30.
