The Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (PACVB) is offering the Go for It Grant Program to fund projects or events that enhance the visitor and resident experience in the Plover Area. The focus is on community enhancement, development, and marketing efforts that drive tourism, particularly those resulting in overnight stays. The program encourages businesses and organizations to develop or enhance events, attractions, or other resources. Eligible applicants include businesses, event planners, organizations, conventions, tradeshows, and sporting events. Although priority is given to projects within Portage County and neighboring areas, proposals from broader locations that could attract tourists to the Plover Area are also considered. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with proposals required at least 60 days before the requested funding date.
