The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), under the Department of the Interior, has announced the funding opportunity L25AS00175 titled “FY25 IIJA/IRA Bureau of Land Management Wyoming Recreation and Visitor Services.” This program aims to improve public access to outdoor recreation while addressing environmental concerns and advancing equity and inclusion across public lands in Wyoming. The funding will support projects that align with the Administration’s priorities, including the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), and Executive Orders (E.O.) 13985 and 14008 focused on racial equity, environmental justice, and climate action.

The total program funding is **$60,000**, with awards ranging from a minimum of **$5,000** to a maximum of **$60,000**. There is **no cost-sharing or matching requirement** for applicants. Eligible applicants include a range of organizations, such as **state, county, city, and township governments; Native American tribal governments (both federally recognized and other tribal organizations); public and private higher education institutions; and nonprofit organizations** with or without 501(c)(3) status. **Individuals and for-profit organizations are not eligible** to apply for this opportunity.
Applications must be submitted **electronically** no later than **5:00 p.m. ET on February 17, 2025**, with the application period open from **December 16, 2024, to February 17, 2025**. Proposals will undergo review, rating, and ranking, with final applicants being notified upon selection. For those proposing Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) projects, indirect costs are capped at **17.5%** if the award aligns with the CESU purpose under a formal Master CESU agreement.
Projects are expected to align with BLM's strategic goals and priorities, including implementing federal legislation and advancing environmental justice, equity, and climate resilience.
