Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation Grants
This funding opportunity supports initiatives that improve the health and well-being of Alaska Native people and communities, focusing on access to care, child wellness, and behavioral health.
Description
The Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation (HANF) is dedicated to advancing the health of Alaska Native people, Tribes, and Tribal Health Organizations by supporting initiatives that align with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium’s vision of making Alaska Native people the healthiest in the world. Grants are provided under four main initiatives: Healthy Patients, Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities, and Area of Greatest Need, with a special focus on projects that enhance access to care, support children and behavioral health, and improve rural healthcare. Preference is given to projects that do not request funding for conferences, positions and benefits, indirect costs, training, research, office supplies, sponsorships, door prizes and raffles, already purchased items, or expenses not directly related to patient needs. HANF prioritizes funding requests that demonstrate a direct impact on Alaska Native people and communities, especially those that promote patient health, child wellness, and community health initiatives.
