Description

Fund for the Arts Community Event Mini-Grants aims to support short-term or one-time innovative and creative events that engage communities within specific neighborhoods of Greater Louisville. This grant program seeks to fund arts organizations, neighborhood associations, individual artists, groups of artists, non-arts nonprofits, and community-based organizations. Eligible events must be multi-disciplinary, multigenerational, and free, focusing on building deeper engagement within communities and celebrating local areas. Applicants must be based in the Greater Louisville area and share a commitment to access, equity, and inclusion, partnering with at least one additional organization to ensure neighborhood alignment and integration. The program supports asset-based community development through the arts, aiming to unify and connect people. Grants range from $500 to $5,000, covering no more than 50% of the total event budget.
