This program provides $50,000 each to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. for community projects that align with Kubota's mission and demonstrate significant local impact.
Description
The 2025 Kubota Hometown Proud® Grant Program is a national contest offering support to nonprofit organizations with community-based projects that demonstrate strong local impact and alignment with Kubota's brand. Administered by Kubota Tractor Corporation, the program awards ten grand prizes of $50,000 each — comprising $25,000 in cash and a $25,000 equipment voucher redeemable at authorized Kubota dealers.
Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in viable financial standing and based in the United States or the District of Columbia. Projects must be located within 50 miles of an authorized Kubota dealer. Each organization may submit only one entry, which includes two 2,000-character essays and a video (under 2 minutes) describing the project’s community impact and its connection to the Kubota brand.
The entry period runs from April 3 to May 9, 2025, followed by a judging period through July 31, 2025. Winners will be announced on or around September 1, 2025. Judging criteria include:
40% Community impact
40% Connection to the Kubota brand
20% Quality of the video submission
Organizations must have approval from all individuals featured in submitted media. Finalists will be contacted via the information provided in their application, and failure to respond in a timely manner may result in disqualification. Prize winnings will be issued directly to the nonprofit and may not be transferred. Recipients must submit an IRS determination letter and EIN for verification, and they are responsible for any applicable taxes.
All winning entries must comply with content and technical requirements and will become property of the sponsor. The program encourages community revitalization projects, infrastructure enhancements, or services promoting long-term local development. Entrants must agree to arbitration and waive class action rights in legal disputes.
