The Transportation Alternatives (TA) Set-Aside, part of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Surface Transportation Block Grant Program, offers reimbursable federal aid for transportation-related community projects that enhance the intermodal transportation system. Maryland’s TA Program aims to improve mobility and accessibility, and enrich the cultural, aesthetic, historic, and environmental facets of the state’s transportation network.
