This program provides funding to Massachusetts-based clean technology startups and academic institutions for projects that advance innovations in areas like high performance buildings, clean transportation, offshore wind, and net zero grid technologies.

Description

AmplifyMass is a grant program offered by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, providing funding of up to $300,000 for academic or startup company projects pursuing cost share or adders for a federal/non-federal prime award. Additionally, funding of up to $100,000 is available for academic projects not directly tied to a prime grant. Projects must aim to commercialize or de-risk an innovation falling within MassCEC's mission and meet their definition of clean energy technologies. Eligible applicants include Massachusetts-based cleantech small businesses and academic institutions/universities. Emphasis is placed on identifying projects in focus areas such as high performance buildings, clean transportation, offshore wind, and net zero grid technologies. More information can be found on the AmplifyMass Program website.
