2025 Flagler County Cultural Council Program Grant
This grant provides financial support to not-for-profit organizations in Flagler County that create arts and cultural programs or events, fostering community enrichment and engagement.
Description
The Flagler County Cultural Council (FC3) has partnered with the City of Palm Coast to manage the Palm Coast Cultural Arts Grant program. This collaboration aims to enhance the local community’s cultural and arts offerings. With City Council approval, the program has been allocated $100,000 for fiscal year 2025 to fund not-for-profit organizations that create arts and cultural programs or events. These initiatives are expected to stimulate, educate, and expand arts and cultural experiences within the Flagler County area.
The primary goal of the program is to provide financial support to organizations that contribute to cultural enrichment through various programs. The total amount of available funding for the program is capped at $100,000, with individual grants not exceeding $15,000. Applicants must match the grant funding dollar for dollar, requiring a 1:1 match for any funds awarded. The total amount granted to each project is determined based on a percentage of the project’s total budget. This matching requirement ensures that the funds are used efficiently and that projects have sufficient financial backing.
The Flagler County Cultural Council has moved the grant application process online to make it more accessible and streamlined for applicants. A rigorous scoring system has been established to ensure the maximum funding is provided to projects that most effectively contribute to the community’s cultural growth. Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the grant guidelines to align their proposals with the scoring criteria, which are designed to support projects with the greatest potential for positive impact.
The application deadline for this grant is February 28, making the application process a quick turnaround for interested applicants. This deadline is intended to expedite access to funding for projects that may have time-sensitive needs or that can be initiated early in the year. After all applications are reviewed, a list of recommended grants will be forwarded to the City of Palm Coast for final approval.
