Veterans, Health, and Youth Development in Nevada
This grant provides financial support to Nevada-based nonprofit organizations that assist military members, veterans, and their families, promote health and wellness, and foster youth development through impactful community programs.
Description
The Raiders Foundation, the charitable arm of the Las Vegas Raiders, is dedicated to supporting the local community through investments in military and veterans’ programs, health and wellness initiatives, and youth development. Since its inception in 2018, the Foundation has contributed over $8 million to organizations and causes aligned with its mission. The Foundation is committed to advancing social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in all its philanthropic efforts.
The Raiders Foundation Impact Grants are awarded twice annually, during the Spring and Fall grant cycles. These grants are available to nonprofit organizations that align with the Foundation’s three key community investment areas: supporting military members, veterans, and their families; promoting health and wellness through initiatives addressing social determinants of health; and improving youth development through programs that encourage positive outcomes and active lifestyles. The grant awards range from $2,500 to $25,000 per program.
For the Spring 2025 Grant Cycle, applications will open on March 3 at 9:00 AM PT and close on March 28 at 5:00 PM PT. Details regarding the Fall 2025 Grant Cycle will be posted later in the year. Eligible organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits actively registered with the Nevada Secretary of State. Applicants must not be schools, youth football development programs, or organizations that have received funding from the Raiders Foundation in the past 12 months. Furthermore, organizations must demonstrate diversity and inclusion, provide strong leadership, and have programs that benefit the Las Vegas community.
Organizations applying for a grant must submit their applications online, as applications submitted via email, mail, fax, or phone will not be accepted. The grant request must be fully completed with all required attachments, and the program must align with at least one of the Foundation’s key focus areas while directly benefiting Nevada residents. The Raiders Foundation will not fund applications for event sponsorships, religious causes, personal pursuits, or partisan political organizations. Additionally, organizations that discriminate based on legally protected statuses will not be considered.
Applications are reviewed by the Raiders Foundation team, and decisions are based on the alignment of the request with the Foundation’s mission, the organization’s reputation for integrity and financial management, and the effectiveness of the proposed program. Organizations are advised not to contact the Foundation regarding the status of their applications, as all applicants will be notified once reviews are completed. Receiving a denial does not indicate a lack of value but rather that the request may not align with the Foundation’s priorities or available funds.
For further information and to apply, organizations must visit the Raiders Foundation’s website during the application period.
