Description
The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Science invites eligible Phase I and Phase II awardees to apply for Phase II funding under the FY 2025 Phase II Release 1 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). This program supports research and development in science and technology, specifically through the DOE’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. The focus is on advancing innovations with significant potential for commercialization and societal impact.
The NOFO anticipates funding approximately 75 awards, with an estimated total program funding of $87 million. Individual awards range between $1.1 million and $1.6 million. Eligible applicants are small businesses, including those with ongoing or previous Phase I and II awards. Cost sharing is not required for this opportunity.
