This grant provides funding to community service organizations in Pettis County for specific projects that promote health access, youth success, and economic mobility.
Description
The United Way of Pettis County (UWPC) Grant Application process for 2024 is open for submissions from September 9, 2024, with a deadline of midnight on November 1, 2024. The grant is designed to support specific projects and programs rather than general operational expenses, with a maximum funding request of $25,000. UWPC emphasizes partnerships with community service providers to better serve the Pettis County area.
To apply, you must create an account or log in to the UWPC system, which will allow you to save drafts and return to complete your application. The account will also be used for future reporting and applications. If you are a returning user and have forgotten your password, it can be reset via the system.
Key Considerations for Your Application:
Project Goals and Outcomes: Clearly outline what your project or program aims to achieve and how it aligns with your organization’s mission and values.
Measuring Success: Specify the outcomes you aim to accomplish and how you will measure them to determine the impact of your project.
Alignment with UWPC Impact Areas: Your project must align with at least one of the following UWPC impact areas:

Childhood and Youth Success
Economic Mobility

To complete your grant application, you will need to gather and upload the following:
UWPC Budget for 2025
Traditional Budget (for new applicants) or Previous Year Financials (including a balance sheet for prior year-funded partners)
Most recent 990 or EZ 990 form
Agency Audit (every two years for organizations with over $500,000) or a Financial Review
Current IRS Determination Letter
Certificate of Good Standing with the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office
Organization’s Logo
2-1-1 enrollment and maintenance of agency information

Optional Grant Information Session:
There will be an informational session on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 4 PM at the Sedalia Public Library (upstairs in the Community Room). Attendance is optional but recommended for those seeking guidance on the application process.
