The Ingham County will provide financial support to community agencies that are primarily non-profit organizations. The Board of Commissioners reserves a small portion of the Juvenile Justice Millage proceeds ($240,000 in 2025) to further the goals and objectives of the County’s Juvenile Justice Millage.
This grant process supports the Board of Commissioners’ intent of seeking proposals from qualified vendors to increase the capacity of the county juvenile justice system for the treatment of delinquent and disturbed youth, with the intent to reduce the involvement of youth in the formal adjudication process.
