Description

Grant opportunity: The Melvin R. Lane Fund, administered by The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, is offering capacity building grants of $100,000 to $500,000 over three years to human service nonprofits in selected counties of North Carolina. The grants aim to enhance the capacity of organizations providing supportive services for disadvantaged citizens, including youths, the elderly, and mentally and/or physically disabled individuals. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, have been operating for at least three years, have two or more full-time employees, and an operating budget exceeding $100,000.
