Humanities New York

This program provides funding to small organizations in New York to create community-focused projects that promote humanities education and cultural engagement, especially in underserved rural areas.

Description

Humanities New York’s Vision Grants Program supports partnerships between different groups to develop public-facing activities infused with humanities themes and methodologies. The program prioritizes projects that reach audiences with fewer opportunities for educational and cultural programming, particularly in rural areas and by small organizations with operating budgets of less than $250,000. All subjects and themes relevant to the communities served are welcome, and the organization strives to make awards in as many regions of the state as possible.
