Local
City of Cibolo

This program provides funding to community organizations in Cibolo for projects that support residents through recreational activities, youth engagement, and cultural events that enhance the city's quality of life.

Description

The City of Cibolo offers the Strategic Partnership Grant Program as an annual initiative aimed at supporting organizations that serve Cibolo residents through community-oriented projects and programs. The primary goals of the program are to assist those in need, encourage active lifestyles across all age groups, and promote events that highlight and preserve the city's historic heritage.

For Fiscal Year 2025, the City Council has designated a total of $12,000 to fund this program. Funding is limited and will be distributed to qualified organizations until the full allocation is awarded. The grant program is structured around the City Council’s Strategic Plan, particularly focusing on areas that foster community partnerships, enhance the quality of life, and create memorable outdoor or youth-oriented experiences.

Eligible projects must align with specific strategies in the City’s strategic vision. These include building relationships with community partners, promoting recreational activities for all ages, supporting youth engagement initiatives, and hosting unique outdoor or culturally significant events. Applicants must demonstrate how their proposals directly support one or more of these strategies to be considered.

The grant application period for the FY25 cycle is open from March 1, 2025, to April 30, 2025. Applications can be submitted online or printed and emailed directly to the program contact. All applications will be reviewed by the City Council, and final grant awards will be determined during a subsequent Council meeting. The grant cycle concludes once the total allocated funding has been awarded.

Interested applicants should direct inquiries and submit completed printed applications to Bryan Hugghins via email. Contact information includes an email address and a phone number, as well as the physical address of City Hall for further communication or support needs. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This grant opportunity is best suited for community organizations that are engaged in local service, cultural enrichment, or recreational development, and that can demonstrate a clear benefit to the residents of Cibolo in alignment with the city’s strategic priorities.
