Sober Living Home Support Programs
This funding opportunity provides financial support to Tribal Nations affected by fraud in behavioral healthcare and sober living homes, helping to compensate individuals and families for their economic losses.
Description
The Arizona Attorney General (AGO) is looking to provide the following: 1.1.1.Compensation or remediation due to a direct harm or economic loss to a Tribal Nation, individual member(s), any legal entity, or any person affected by racketeering involving Behavioral Healthcare / Sober Living Home Fraud funded through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS); 1.1.2.Support of a compensatory or remedial program that applies to a Tribal Nation(s), individual member(s), any legal entity, or any person affected by racketeering involving Behavioral Healthcare / Sober Living Home Fraud funded through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS); 1.1.3.Support of community based non-profit programs that are supportive of, and consistent with, a law enforcement effort, policy, and/or initiative that addresses or provides compensatory or remedial assistance for a direct harm or economic loss to a Tribal Nation(s), individual member(s), any legal entity, or any person affected by racketeering involving Behavioral Healthcare / Sober Living Home Fraud funded through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS); 1.1.4.Assistance to, or support of, programs that are supportive of a Tribal Nation(s), individual member(s), any legal entity, or any person affected by racketeering involving Behavioral Healthcare / Sober Living Home Fraud funded through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Any grant must comply with state statute or federal law for expenditure of funds in the anti-racketeering revolving fund established pursuant to A.R.S. §13-2314.01. To achieve this goal of compensation or remediation to Tribal Nations, the AGO proposes $6,000,000 be immediately available in grant funding to be distributed to Tribal Nations with affected individuals and families who resided in fraudulent sober living homes.
Financial Notes:
Applicants eligible to apply for this opportunity include Tribal Nations. All grants are capped at $500,000 (proposals may not request more than $500,000 in total grant funding) of the available $6,000,000. This Request for Grant Application (“RFGA”) is funded by the Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund.
