Impact100 Westchester

This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations for innovative projects that create lasting positive change in the Westchester community, along with additional support for two runner-up organizations to enhance their core operations.

Description

Impact100 Westchester invites nonprofit organizations to apply for its 2025 grant cycle. This grant program is designed to fund transformational projects that create significant and lasting impacts within the community. In addition to the main Transformational Project Grants, two runner-up organizations will receive unrestricted Core Mission Grants to support their general operations. The application process is rigorous and includes several stages, from initial application submission to finalist presentations, with grants awarded at the Annual Meeting on June 3, 2025.

The grant program begins with optional information sessions and project pitch workshops to assist nonprofits in preparing their applications. The web-based application system opened on November 12, 2024, and applications must be submitted by January 24, 2025. Grant amounts will be announced in mid-January, based on Impact100 Westchester’s membership size. Following the submission deadline, Grant Review Committees will evaluate applications, notifying applicants by February 28 if they have been selected for the second round.

Second-round applicants will answer follow-up questions by March 10, 2025, and participate in a virtual discussion with Grant Review Committees between March 24 and April 4. Organizations advancing to the next stage will arrange virtual site visits between April 28 and May 2, during which committee members will assess the proposed projects in more detail. Finalists will be notified by mid-May.

At the Annual Meeting on June 3, finalists will present their projects to Impact100 Westchester members. Members will then vote anonymously to select grant recipients. The top two projects will receive Transformational Project Grants, while the two remaining finalists will be awarded Core Mission Grants. Transformational Project Grants require a signed Grant Agreement outlining specific project terms and include periodic progress reporting. Core Mission Grants are unrestricted and will be paid in full within two weeks of the Annual Meeting.

Impact100 Westchester’s grant program aims to foster innovation and collaboration by supporting projects that address critical community needs. Nonprofits are encouraged to align their proposals with the organization's mission and to take advantage of the resources offered during the application process.
