Details:
ESG funds provide for emergency shelter and homelessness prevention activities including short-term and medium-term rental assistance and services to stabilize and rapidly re-house individuals and households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Street Outreach
Emergency Shelter
Homelessness Prevention
Rapid Re-Housing Assistance
Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
Administrative Costs.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be non-profits or units of local government. Governmental organizations such as public housing agencies and local housing finance agencies are not eligible applicants under the ESG program. Applicants must be in compliance with ESG guidelines 24 CFR Part 576 and applicable state and federal policies and procedures, including compliance with federal and state non-discrimination laws.
