Description

Using tax revenue created from the sales of wine in Oklahoma, this fund awards projects that aim to advance the grape and wine industry in the state. Maximum award amount is 50000. Projects may be two years in length and must focus on one of the following areas: Scientific research, Education, Product development, Producer outreach, Marketing. Eligible applicants include higher education institutions, government agencies (state or subdivisions of Oklahoma), and trade groups promoting grape and wine production in Oklahoma. Individual growers/businesses are not eligible. Letter(s) of support must accompany each application, with a minimum of three letters from vineyards/wineries or one from the Oklahoma Grape Industry Council. The application deadline is August 20, 2024.
