This funding opportunity provides up to $250 for individuals or small groups in Burlington's Old North End to complete neighborhood projects or events that foster community engagement.

Description

Neighborhood Project Grants provide funding of up to $250 for individuals or groups aiming to complete a neighborhood project or event in Burlington, VT’s Old North End. Projects and events must be completed within a year of funding notification, and the maximum grant amount is $250. Funding will be issued directly to the vendor(s) supplying the necessary items or services. Eligible projects include those spearheaded by individuals and groups in the Old North End, as well as neighborhood celebrations and events that bring residents together. The application is available online as an online form, MS Word .doc, or PDF, and applications are accepted at any time.

However, it's important to note that projects outside of the Old North End are not eligible for funding, nor are projects run by nonprofits and businesses (with exceptions for very small groups). Additionally, events that do not primarily benefit Old North End residents or have multiple sponsors will not be funded. For questions or comments, applicants can reach out via email at ONEGoodDeedFundBTV@gmail.com or by calling 802-448-0512. The fund is volunteer-run, so responses may take a day or two. Applicants can also stay updated on news and updates by following the fund on social media platforms or subscribing to their e-newsletter.
