Description

The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, in partnership with Cornell Soil Health Lab, offers free soil testing for eligible community gardens in New York State to ensure food safety and support the growth and expansion of community gardens. The program provides testing for heavy metals and nutrient analysis, with technical support from Cornell Cooperative Extension Harvest New York. Applications are accepted from March 13, 2024, until funding is exhausted.
