Description

The Used Oil Collection Gift Grant Program administered by NHDES offers financial support to municipalities, counties, solid waste districts, other government entities, non-profits focused on waste management and recycling, and private businesses registered as motor vehicle inspection stations. These gift grants, which do not require matching funds, are provided to encourage the establishment, improvement, and operation of used oil collection centers. The collected oil is then recycled at licensed facilities. Grant amounts vary, with a maximum of $2,500 for individual centers and up to $5,000 for centers serving multiple towns.
