Impact100 Westchester Boost Award 2025
This funding opportunity provides flexible financial support to small nonprofit organizations in Westchester County, helping them enhance their community impact without the burden of extensive reporting requirements.
Description
The Impact Boost Award is designed to help smaller nonprofits in Westchester County amplify their impact within the community. This grant is offered by Impact100 Westchester and provides flexible funding that can be used for projects, mission support, or operating expenses. Unlike many other grant opportunities, Impact Boost does not require ongoing reporting after funds are awarded, making it an accessible and efficient funding option for small organizations.
The primary objective of this grant is to support nonprofit organizations that meet specific eligibility requirements and serve Westchester beneficiaries. To qualify, organizations must be designated as 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, have an annual revenue of less than $250,000, and have submitted a recent IRS Form 990. Additionally, organizations must not be religious, partisan, legislative, or political in nature. However, programs affiliated with religious institutions are eligible if they are open to everyone. Organizations that have applied for an Impact100 Westchester Transformational Grant during the same cycle are ineligible.
The funding provided through the Impact Boost Award can be used flexibly to support either specific projects or general mission-related expenses. There are no restrictions on how the funds may be allocated within the approved scope. The grant application process is straightforward, beginning with an online submission through a web-based application portal. The application is designed to be brief and should take no more than 15-30 minutes to complete. Once submitted, applicants will be contacted for an interview, which will be conducted via Zoom or in person. These interviews will last no longer than one hour and will be conducted by members of Impact100 Westchester.
After all interviews have been completed, finalist organizations will be selected and submitted for a vote by the full Impact100 membership. The final grant recipients will be announced in early May, with recognition taking place at the organization’s Annual Meeting in June. The streamlined process ensures that small organizations with limited resources can apply with minimal administrative burden.
The application timeline includes a portal opening date of January 30 and a submission deadline of February 21. Interviews will take place between March 3 and March 21. Finalists will be announced on May 2, and recipients will be revealed on May 12. The final acknowledgment of awarded organizations will occur at the Impact100 Westchester Annual Meeting on June 3.
Impact100 Westchester provides an opportunity for small nonprofit organizations to secure funding without the extensive administrative requirements that typically accompany grant awards. This initiative aims to empower local nonprofits by offering them the financial resources needed to expand their impact in the community.
