The Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. administers a charitable grant program to support nonprofit organizations that serve or benefit the residents of Boulder County, Colorado. The program provides funding to organizations that align with its key program areas, including arts, culture, and humanities; education; environment and animal welfare; health; human services; and religion. Grants are intended to support the operations and initiatives of public charities that have a direct impact on the community within Boulder County.

Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations recognized as public charities under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The grant program is geographically restricted to Boulder County, Colorado, and does not provide funding to organizations operating outside of this designated area. The average grant size ranges between $2,000 and $7,500, with an estimated total annual grant distribution of approximately $80,000. Each year, 10 to 15 grants are awarded to eligible organizations.

Applications for funding are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year; however, to be considered in the current grant cycle, applications must be submitted by November 30. Submissions received by this deadline will be reviewed at the annual grant meeting, and funding decisions are generally communicated by April of the following year. Applicants will receive an automated confirmation email upon submission.

Organizations receiving funding may be required to submit periodic progress reports and final reports detailing the use of funds and impact of the grant. These reporting requirements will be specified upon award notification.
