The 24 Squared Grant Program, funded by Square Financial Services and the Community Foundation of Utah, offers grants between $1,000 to $10,000 to Utah-based non-profit organizations engaged in community development activities such as affordable housing, small business development, reentry support, and financial wellness, with special awards for the highest scored organization, those with great potential, and those supporting local small businesses.

Square Financial Services, Inc. (“SFS” or “Bank”) in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Utah (“CFU”), is pleased to begin accepting applications for the 24 Squared Grant Program.

Through this grant initiative, SFS seeks to support and spotlight qualifying Utah-area non-profit organizations engaged in innovative and impactful community development activities
Grants of at least $2,400 to 24 nonprofit organizations engaged in community development work in the state of Utah. Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to three outstanding non-profit organization applicants for the following areas.
Best in Show – Highest scored organization
Diamond in the Rough – Non-profit organization with great potential and doing exceptional community development work in the state of Utah.
Small Business Excellence – Non-profit organization doing impressive and innovative work in supporting Utah-based small businesses.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this grant award you must:
Be a public organization with a 501(c)3 tax-exempt status
Have a physical office in the state of Utah
Not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin
Participate in one of the following community development activities:
affordable housing
small business development
reentry support and entrepreneurship
financial capability and wellness
Selection Criteria
Quality and strength of the applying organization to achieve goals
Innovativeness and effectiveness of the application, project and/or organization
Potential impact on the Utah community
Alignment with Square Financial Services’ core values and organizational pillars
