Description
The Heartland United Way is offering the Rural Community Impact Grants to support nonprofit organizations in Hamilton, Howard, Merrick counties, and rural communities in Hall County, Nebraska. These grants aim to advance the mission of the Heartland United Way, which is to improve lives and create possibilities for people in these areas. A total of $30,000 in funding is available for distribution among nonprofit organizations that align with one or more of the following priority areas: Healthy Communities, which focuses on improving health and well-being for all; Youth Opportunity, which supports young people in realizing their full potential; Financial Security, which aims to build financial stability and strength; and Community Resiliency, which addresses urgent needs today for a better tomorrow. Organizations must demonstrate how their programs align with these focus areas to be considered for funding.
Eligible applicants must be recognized public charities under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501(c)(3).
