Description
The Illinois Hospital Preparedness-Pediatric Preparedness Program aims to prevent and reduce childhood and adolescent death and disability due to illness and injury by enhancing emergency preparedness. This work is done in collaboration with the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program. The program will provide guidance and assistance to hospitals, regional healthcare coalitions, and other healthcare entities to improve pediatric emergency preparedness. The grant period is from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.
