Texas Women for the Arts Grants 2024-2025

Ceiling: $100,000
Private
Texas Cultural Trust

This funding opportunity supports arts education programs that nurture and develop the artistic talents of children throughout Texas.

Description

The Texas Women for the Arts (TWA) Grants, offered by the Texas Cultural Trust, provide funding for arts education programs that inspire and develop the artistic potential in children across Texas. Established in 2005, TWA is a statewide giving circle uniting Texas women’s resources to enhance access to arts education. Grants are awarded annually in the spring after a rigorous selection process. For the 2024-2025 grant cycle, applications open on October 1, 2024, and close on December 1, 2024.

Eligibility for the TWA Grants requires applicants to hold 501(c)(3) status, with exceptions made for religious organizations and government-affiliated historical agencies. Grantees may only receive funding for two consecutive years and must wait one year before reapplying. Each application must be sponsored by an active TWA member, a responsibility that falls to the applicant to arrange, as the Texas Cultural Trust does not facilitate sponsorships. Additionally, all applicants must be registered and in good standing with the Texas Secretary of State.

Funded programs must align closely with TWA’s mission to foster artistic expression in Texas children. For further details or assistance, applicants may contact the Texas Cultural Trust via email at info@txculturaltrust.org with “TWA Grants” in the subject line.
