This funding opportunity provides up to $6 million to support innovative projects that improve access to climate-resilient water and sanitation solutions for underserved communities in India.

Description

The Transformative Partnerships for Climate-Resilient Water and Sanitation Initiative by USAID India aims to support inclusive, climate-resilient water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) systems in underserved and vulnerable communities. Part of the DiP-WASH initiative, this program promotes partnerships with new, nontraditional, and local actors to tackle water security challenges not covered by existing USAID investments. With total funding up to $6 million, USAID anticipates awards of $2 million each over three years, although it is not obligated to make any awards.

Eligible applicants include diverse entities committed to innovative, evidence-based solutions for equitable access to climate-resilient WASH resources. Applications are due by December 2, 2024, and the selection may include a co-creation process, with full applications requested at USAID’s discretion.
