Grant Opportunity: Foundation Grants for Youth with Disabilities and Families in Africa, Central America, and India
The Foundation supports organizations that provide rehabilitative services to youth with disabilities and basic needs assistance to families. They primarily fund Christian organizations serving children and families in Africa, Central America, and India. The grant focuses on the following areas:
1. Chronic Health & Disability Services: Programs providing life-changing surgeries and therapies to children with disabilities in Africa.
2. Human Rights & Child Protection: Programs addressing bonded labor and human trafficking among youth and families in India.
3. Water & Sanitation: Programs providing safe water access to youth and families in Africa and Central America.
4. Youth & Family Empowerment: Programs offering enrichment opportunities like financial literacy classes and family counseling for youth in Africa.
Please note that the Foundation only considers applications for international grants by invitation.
Eligibility:
- Qualified public entities or organizations exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code are eligible.
- Private foundations, commercial businesses, and individuals are not eligible.
Financial Guidelines:
- The Foundation typically funds up to 25% of a project's budget or up to 10% of an organization's total annual operating budget.
Application Deadlines:
- Grant applications are accepted throughout the year, but it is recommended to submit at least four months before funding is needed.
- Organizations awarded a grant must submit a final report before being eligible for a new grant application.
