Description
The Park County Community Foundation (PCCF) Community Grant Program provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public entities serving Park County, Montana, and Mammoth, Wyoming. The program is designed to support initiatives that align with the "We Will Park County" visioning process and address key community issues. Eligible projects must demonstrate community benefit, serve local residents, and leverage funding from other sources. Priority is given to organizations based in Park County.
The application process begins with a required Letter of Interest (LOI), submitted through PCCF’s online grant portal. The LOI serves as an initial screening tool, with a limited number of organizations invited to submit full applications based on alignment with funding priorities. Funding is highly competitive, and decisions are made based on clarity of impact, the number of residents served, and geographical reach within Park County. Organizations may only submit one LOI per cycle, and prior grantees must be current on all final reports to be eligible.
The 2025 grant cycle includes information sessions, an LOI submission deadline of February 6, 2025, and final funding decisions announced on May 16, 2025. Grants are typically one-time awards with no specified minimum or maximum funding amount. PCCF offers additional resources for applicants, including training sessions on grant writing and community relationships
