Description

The FY 2025 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program is a federally funded initiative aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of Nebraska specialty crops. The Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) is accepting concept proposals for the FY 2025 funding cycle, with approximately $820,000 available for projects. There is no maximum grant award, and cost sharing or matching is not required. Projects must enhance the competitiveness of U.S. or U.S. territory-grown specialty crops and identify at least one expected measurable outcome and indicator. The grant funds must be expended before September 30, 2025, or after September 29, 2028. Interested applicants must submit Concept Proposals by January 31, 2025, through the AmpliFund application portal. Successful applicants will be invited to submit full Grant Proposals in Phase II. The review process involves an administrative review and a technical review by a field review panel.
