Established in 1676 by Dr. John Clarke, this historic trust supports education, human services, and religion-related initiatives. Preference is given to organizations located on Aquidneck Island, Rhode Island, and within the East Bay area, but applications from any Rhode Island 501(c)(3) are acceptable. Capital grant requests are only considered from Aquidneck Island. Grants are awarded twice a year, with application deadlines on April 1 and November 1.
