Description

The City of Paducah offers a micro-grant opportunity for homeowners in the defined program area to improve their houses and contribute to the beautification of the community. The grant provides a dollar-for-dollar match for exterior home improvement projects, with a minimum investment threshold of $500 and a maximum match of $5,000 for the first $10,000 invested. Eligible projects include repairs or replacements of siding, porches, windows, doors, architectural details, exterior lighting fixtures, driveway culverts, mature tree repair by a licensed arborist, and exterior painting. Priority will be given to applicants proposing to paint the entire structure. The funds will only be awarded after completion of the approved project within 60 days. Applicants must meet certain criteria including property ownership and tax status. Grant awards are subject to availability of funds and approval by the City of Paducah.
